v1.6 — Leaderboard Overhaul
Current patch
NewBest time and best clicks are now tracked independently — a faster time no longer overwrites a clicks record and vice versa.
New⏱ Time tab shows each player's fastest run. 👆 Clicks tab shows each player's most efficient run. Each player appears exactly once per tab.
ChangeScore tab removed — leaderboard now has two clean tabs: Time and Clicks.
FixScore submission errors are now shown clearly on the end screen with the exact reason, even on devices without a developer console.
FixBackground save resync now restores both best time and best clicks rows independently if either is missing from the leaderboard.
v1.5 — Bug Fixes & Quality of Life
Previous patch
FixPaused state no longer bleeds between games — pausing Free Play then quitting no longer freezes the next game.
FixDuo board desync resolved — shared board is now seeded as a compact flat array guaranteeing both players start identically.
FixGhost leaderboard submissions (0:00 times) prevented — runs under 1 second are now blocked from submitting.
FixDeleted leaderboard entries now auto-restore — on next launch the game silently resubmits the player's next best local time.
FixLeaderboard submissions now retry once on failure and show a clear error if still unreachable, rather than silently dropping the score.
Fix10-second timeout added to all Supabase requests — stalled connections no longer hang forever.
New✕ Quit button replaces ← Menu in-game so players understand the run will not be saved.
NewSave export & import — players can copy a save code from My Stats and restore it on any URL.
NewReturning player restore on the name screen — paste a save code before entering the game to carry over all stats and personal bests.
NewAdmin panel: 🧹 Clean Ghost Entries button removes all sub-1s leaderboard entries across all modes in one click.

NewDuo Challenge mode — team up with a friend on one shared board via 5-digit party code.
NewEach player has their own inventory and points. Shop stays open without pausing the game.
NewTeammate inventory visible above the board (faded). Actions sync in real-time.
NewDuo leaderboard tab — entries show both player names, combined score and clicks.
BalanceDuo board is 52×38 (larger than Insane). Grow rate 0.075, spores every 20–35s.
v1.3 — Inventory & Balance Update
Current patch
NewInventory system — 4 item slots replace the old active-tool indicator. Purchased tools go into your inventory and are used by clicking their slot.
NewShop slot (🛒) is now the 5th inventory square — always visible during gameplay.
ChangeGame pauses automatically while the shop is open so you never lose time browsing.
BalanceScrambler reworked — now targets all cells within a 5×5 area plus any connected cells, changing them to a color already present on the board.
BalanceWall, Spore, and Wall Bomb removed from competitive modes (Easy, Default, Insane). These tools remain available in Free Play.
FixFixed script errors caused by quote escaping bugs in leaderboard rendering.
FixCanvas animation loops now guard against running before a game is initialized.
